All of the trainings offered at the Montessori Training Center of Poznan are based on the authentic Montessori approach as propagated by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).

Directors of Training

Nathalie Justine is an AMI trainer at the Primary level (3-6). She gained her experience in different countries: France, USA, Canada, and in Ecuador where she worked with underprivileged children for 4 years. She has trained students for 10 years at the Montessori Training centre in Paris. The last few years, she has lectured and examined on AMI courses around the world. Her openness brings her to Poland to continue the work of Maria Roth. Megan Trezise is an AMI 3-6 Trainer with 15 years of experience in Montessori. She discovered the power of Montessori dynamically serving all learners, especially those underprivileged. While working in the public sector, she served as a specialist for Response to Intervention Team working with special needs children. She now specializes (within the context of the Montessori Prepared Environment) in serving children with ADHD and those who have endured childhood trauma.

Requirements

In order to be eligible to sit for the written and oral examinations a minimum attendance of 90% is required in the following: theory lectures; demonstrations of materials in each area; discussions/reviews as organised by the training course; the required reading seminars on Montessori books as stipulated by the training course. Attendance at supervised practical sessions (minimum 140 hours).

Earning your diploma

In order to receive a diploma at the end of the training course the following requirements must be met: A pass mark for written (Papers A & B) and oral examinations, compilation and submission of acceptable and original albums in all areas; compilation and submission of acceptable materials as required by the course; observation and observation reports; practice teaching as scheduled.

The Primary Course offers a comprehensive study of Montessori theory and practice for those who aspire to work with children in a Montessori environment for ages three to six. Students have the possibility to thoroughly explore the philosophy, human development, Montessori materials and curriculum, and expectations for Montessori professionals worldwide.
